Governor Sarah Palin, GOP VP - what will women voters do?
Unbelievable!! John McCain chose a woman VP - Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska...wow.
McCain may have ultra-syncopated the political rhythm of our times.
The case can now be made that the 18 million cracks in the ceiling will be broken by a conservative, pro-life, hockey-mother....
John McCain knows strategy...and he knows combat...and he knows how to win elections. His choice was superb.
Now, the question for the male and female feminists of America is whether Sara Palin is "female enough" to be supported by them....or whether it's not REALLY a matter of being a woman in high office, after all - it might be a variation on the theme from Animal Farm: "All animals are equal, but some animals are MORE equal than others." Hmmm...we'll see.
Welcome to a new world. This ain't your Geraldine Ferraro's Oldsmobile. BTW: Gov. Palin is a University of Idaho graduate...a little slice of Idaho.
Here's a little bit of Fox News background on Sarah Palin's history. Alaskans have a bumper sticker that says: "Coldest State. Hottest Governor" How funny....

WOW! Is right! Simply Awesome! A true conservative, woman! This is a great day for America and conservatives, and especially progressive conservatives! I was surprised by this announcement, but I'am excited and happy about it. This was definitely pure political brilliance.
Heres to real change! Biden? Biden? What a bad pick, Biden is not change, he is in love with Washington.

You are absolutley correct, Andrew. This move by McCain topples everything the past 4 days in Denver. How amazing to now see w woman of integrity move to the center of the political stage. A mom of 5 kids, happily married and pro-life, without hesitation.
Utterly amazing.

Feminism exists to make progress for all women, not just one who would take others' rights away.

Shame on you Sara. I can't believe you're not rejoicing that a member of your gender is breaking a barrier. Could it be that the only feminism you want is one that gives us lost unborn babies and radical fringe rights movements? It's like you want to re-phrase G.K. Chesterton's assessment of the men of his time. He called them "men without chests." You seem to want to call any female not in agreement with your agenda "women without breasts." Can anyone ever be good enough for you?
