Why is it that the feminists in the US are having such a problem with Governor Sarah Palin's entrance into the national limelight?
Hmm...let's see. Well, she agrees with them on ensuring that a full day's worth of work should be fair and benefit people of either sex. Maybe commercial fishing off the coast of Alaska with her husband isn't what Gloria Steinem had in mind, but it seems to make her point though, doesn't it?
Or maybe they're having problems with her because she really has taken to heart the competition with men on many different levels.
(I've never caught one like this...let alone won an election for Governor.)
And trust me, in all of my days "hunting" I never quite "got my elk" (or caribou) like this pic shows.
She's a hard-charging woman in a world of men.
Come to think about it, maybe that's the whole problem. Is it that those who champion feminism REALLY want a camper, hunter, fisherman type of female leader...or is all they REALLY want are emasculated men? Men who cannot or will not "call the game" on some women's sexist anti-man attitudes? I'm not really sure.
Hmmm...there's a conundrum.

I will not join on personal attacks against either party. I have a great deal of respect for what I have seen of Governor Palin. She is my kinda gal--one that isn't offended by being called a gal. But quite capable of competing in a man's world on men's terms, while still maintaining ethics, morals and femininity. At least that is what I have seen. My aunt and uncle are from Alaska and I will ask them today what they think of her. Their opinion will carry a lot of weight with me. Unfortunately, what I see of Obama is just a stuffed shirt with little substance underneath--impassive unless it suits the voting populace, unemotional unless it suits the voting populace, unopinionated unless it suits the voting populace. Basically he is a nothing within himself unless it suits the voting populace. That isn't a leader, it's a yes man.

All lefties want emasculated men. This is no surprise. Have you seen how Obama dances?
