Where is Sen. Obama's Birth Certificate...among other things?

Wow, I just read this from my friend, Gary Bauer.

When George Romney was running for President back, back, waaay back, the question arose about his birth having occured in Mexico...and whether that fact would preclude him from serving as President, if elected.

Well, the Cone of Silence that Rick Warren joked about the other day, in the Saddleback Civil Forum may just have a couple cracks in it for Senator Obama...

For the past eight years, while the administration has waged a war against Islamofascism at home and abroad, the ACLU and its leftwing allies in the media and Congress have railed against the White House for its “shroud of secrecy” and denounced its perceived lack of transparency. In recent weeks, however, a number of journalists have leveled similar accusations against the Obama campaign.

Just consider this excerpt from a column last month by Washington Post reporter Dana Milbank:

“[Obama’s] schedule for [Tuesday], announced Monday night, would have made Dick Cheney envious:

11:00 a.m.: En route TBA.

12:05 p.m.: En route TBA.

1:45 p.m.: En route TBA.

2:55 p.m.: En route TBA.

5:20 p.m.: En route TBA.”

Now news has broken that former Harvard Professor Stanley Kurtz was recently denied access to records held by the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Kurtz has done some excellent research in the past on a host of issues – from extremist Saudi funding of American educational institutions to the cultural impact of homosexual “marriage” – research that I have relied upon and referred to in past reports. What was Dr. Kurtz researching at UIC?

As it turns out, the University of Illinois at Chicago houses documents pertaining to the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. Barack Obama once served as the foundation’s chairman. The foundation was started by former Weatherman terrorist Bill Ayers, who to this day remains unrepentant about his role in bombing several government building in protest of the Vietnam War.

For whatever reason, Ayers and/or the Obama campaign do not want Stanley Kurtz or anyone else learning anything more about Obama’s relationship with Bill Ayers. Now, politically, I think this level of secrecy is a gross mistake by the Obama campaign. His resume is extraordinarily thin – a fact Obama relishes. In his book, “The Audacity of Hope,” Obama writes of himself, “I serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views.” I think many Americans looked past the “blank screen” in his performance at Saddleback Church this weekend and saw, at most, an empty suit.

But a thorough examination of the foundation’s records by an expert researcher like Dr. Kurtz could serve only to exonerate Senator Obama – unless he really does have something to hide.

About the Obama birth certificate...... I would be interested to know what country he claims for citizen ship on the certificate? He needs to produce it, because his mom was not to enamored with her country and may have leaned to her husbands / socialist/communist roots, Obama may not be a citizen of the United States. If that is the case he is not elgible to run for president, I don't care where he was born. Lets waite until after the nomination though, then go to work on it. HUH? Oh! hi every one this is my first post to the forum. Just a plain old country boy, American, loving patroit.

You know, this "Obama Birth Certificate" thing is just making people who spout it look dumber and dumber -- even an anti-Obama guy found a birth announcement in a Hawaii paper from 1961. (It's as bad as the "McCain isn't a natural-born citizen" crowd.)
It's almost starting to sound like the 9/11 Truthers who run around screaming "If they don't take the time to prove to me that my outlandish statement is false, my theory must be true."
