A Big Idea in Boise, Idaho
The Studio Corp to Receive Advice from Donny Deutsch on CNBC’s “The Big Idea”
Boise, ID – August 27, 2008 – Aaron Maben (23) and Jamie Maben (22), managers of The Studio Corp, a Boise based multimedia production and design agency, are to be featured on The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch, a nationally broadcast show that highlights the stories of ambitious small businesses and entrepreneurs. The Mabens, a young couple who have taken on the task of turning around Aaron’s father’s business, were selected for one of the show’s segments after a successful pitch of the company’s troubled history and current situation.
Production began for the introductory clip to the company’s segment last Monday, where Aaron and Jamie were filmed interacting with their employees and interviewed about their experience and endeavors over the past four months. The segment, approximately 8 minutes long, will showcase the company’s story as well as a satellite interview between the Mabens and Donny Deutsch regarding the company’s future. The Episode will air on Tuesday, September 2nd at 8:00pm on CNBC.
Troy Maben, a well-known and respected Idaho photographer, founded the company as a small photography studio over seven years ago. He employed his son and daughter-in-law (Aaron & Jamie), recent Pepperdine University graduates, to help re-establish and organize the company after the removal of The Studio Corp’s previous General Manager for financial, asset and project mismanagement. Despite Aaron & Jamie’s successful implementation of legal, financial, operational and marketing efforts, the company has experienced numerous setbacks. Intent on rebuilding the company’s financial viability and reputation, Aaron & Jamie submitted their story to CNBC in hopes of receiving business advice and help from Donny Deutsch.
