Many in blog-ville are aware of the failed lawsuit by Mr. Berg to force Sen. Obama to show his legal birth certificate and once and for all, show that he was born an American citizen...and not a Kenyan.
From Snopes to Urban Legend to ad infinitum....the postings show a marketed and similar trend: nothin' doing.
But something different this way comes...from Mission Viejo, Ca of all places. A lady Dentist with an attitude...and a JD...and a client of unususal dimensions: Ambassador Alan Keyes, American Independent Party nominee for President. Just happened, by the way....
And only in these days of blogs, can we go directly to the hometown paper of the hometown hero (for the Right) and show what she's saying.
Apparently, the game is on....again. Hmmm....
Gimme your thoughts; I'd love to hear 'em.

Dr. Orly Taitz has a dentistry office at LaPaz and Chrisanta, claiming thousands of satisfied clients, but she has also been a licensed California attorney since 2002. Taitz joined Ramona attorney Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation in filing the Writ of Mandate Petition in the Sacramento County Superior Court. The pair is representing former Reagan appointee, Ambassador Alan Keyes, who was a 2008 presidential candidate for the American Independent Party.
The complaint by Taitz asks the court to prevent the Secretary of State from certifying the election until proof is shown that Obama is a “natural born U.S. citizen, and that he is not a foreign citizen of Kenya, Indonesia or Great Britain. It names Obama, Biden, the Secretary of State, and California Democratic electors as defendants.
Taitz’s client, Keyes, says he is pursuing the matter because, “I and others are concerned that this issue be properly investigated and decided before Senator Obama takes office. Otherwise there will be a serious doubt as to the legitimacy of his tenure. This doubt would also affect the respect people have for the Constitution as the supreme law of the land. I hope the issue can be quickly clarified so that the new President can take office under no shadow of doubt. This will be good for him and for the nation.”
The issue is not new. The complaint states that 17 other federal and state lawsuits are pending regarding Obama’s citizenship. There have also been cases challenging John McCain’s “natural born” qualification since he was born in Panama while his father was on military assignment.
Taitz requests an expedited hearing process, stating any actions taken by Obama after inauguration would be illegal and void if it was later determined he was not a natural born citizen of the U.S. The twentieth amendment to the federal constitution provides for succession of a president-elect who does not qualify. The vice president-elect would act as president until a president is qualified.
Barack Obama has refused to allow access to his birth certificate. The Governor of Hawaii has also refused to release Obama’s birth certificate or describe its origins. Taitz alleges that Obama’s paternal grandmother has affirmed she “was in the delivery room in Kenya when he was born August 4, 1961.” Even if Obama was born in Hawaii, his U.S. citizenship was relinquished when he became a citizen of Indonesia in or around 1967, according to Taitz, which would also disqualify him under the U.S. constitution.
Obama is defending himself in another citizenship case by claiming the plaintiff in that action is an ordinary citizen and therefore lacks standing to bring the challenge. That matter was being reviewed by the US Supreme Court. In the Taitz case, the plaintiffs are not ordinary citizens, but a 2008 presidential candidate, his vice-presidental candidate, and a California elector.
Ms. Taitz contacted California Secretary of State Debra Bowen (Dem) on October 25 requesting an administrative hearing. Bowen has since failed to take any steps to confirm Obama’s citizenship, leading Ms. Taitz to file suit seeking injunctive relief to prevent any California electoral votes from being cast for Obama. What do you all make of this?
Whoever forged the Barack Obama birth certificate got caught in Mr. Obama's own political correctness.
In 1961 America, blacks were negroes and not Africans no matter if they came from Africa or not.
If one cares to examine the Negroe Leagues in baseball where blacks were to "pass" as Cubans to the United Negroe College Fund to the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, there was no African at all in any terminology.
One was negroe on legal documents and "colored" in common usage.
No pixels in this. No questioning borders and no questions about the researcher's expertise as negroe is American history and scientific fact just like whoever forged the Obama birth certificate got caught in political correctness in not being able to use a term they were trained to avoid.

Great points...all.
If Obama's campaign enjoys this sort of thing, how odd. If bloggers feel as though they are liberating the nation from the President-elect, how odd.
If he really isn't a citizen, why prolong the defense of him?
If he is a citizen, how odd that a final OK-dokee can't be agreed upon by all parties.
Well, let's see how far this lawsuit goes....

At this point, what opponents? What could any "opponents" do? What does this detract from? Why play this game at all? Why not be transparent? I'm not understanding the strategy.

Barack Obama: Born in Hawai`i
by Andrew Walden
|
It is time to focus on REAL issues, not imaginary ones.
A fairly impressive internet industry has sprung up claiming that Obama was born in either Kenya or Indonesia. This is nonsense, which distracts from the broadly unexplored story of Obama's upbringing. This kind of nonsense has emerged because the McCain campaign chose not to raise the many questions about Barack Obama's numerous hard-left alliances. Barack Obama was born in Hawai`i, August 4, 1961 at Kapiolani Medical Center in Honolulu.
Obama's birth certificate posted online is exactly the same birth certificate everybody in Hawai`i gets from the State Department of Health. It is not forged. There is nothing unusual about the design or the texture. In addition to the birth certificate, the August 13, 1961 Honolulu Advertiser also carries an announcement of Obama's birth. The Honolulu Star-Bulletin also carries the same announcement. Both papers require submission of a copy of the birth certificate to print a birth announcement.
By refusing media requests for a look at the actual paper birth certificate, Obama's campaign gave sly backhanded assistance to the forgery hype. The internet release of the birth certificate via hyper-partisan website Daily Kos on June 12 before posting it on a campaign website was likely calculated to fuel the frenzy. This is Obama's Gramscian strategy designed to redirect the opposition down a blind alley. It was so successful that Hawai`i government offices found themselves inundated with telephone calls from mainland voters in the days before the November 4 election.
Since Hawai`i law forbids the release of birth certificates to anybody not authorized by Barack Obama or his family, Obama further fed the paranoia by choosing not to grant such permissions. A World Net Daily story claiming Hawai`i's Republican Governor Linda Lingle "sealed" the birth certificate is totally false. The governor's office has asked for a retraction. The forgery story was also boosted by video claims that Obama's Kenyan grandmother stated that Obama "is a son of this village" — a phrase which can have many different meanings.
For Obama to have been born in Kenya, Ann Dunham and Barack Obama Sr. would have had to fly from Honolulu to Mombasa, give birth in a substandard third world hospital, fly back and then somehow arrange for a fraudulent birth certificate to be entered by the State of Hawai`i on August 8, 1961 (at the time governed by Republican William Quinn). They would have also somehow planted the phony birth announcement in the Honolulu Advertiser (at the time edited by Republican Thurston Twigg-Smith) and the Honolulu Star-Bulletin. Hawai`i's current Republican Governor Linda Lingle would also have to be complicit in the cover-up as would all of the leftist 1960s University of Hawaii friends of Ann Dunham and Barack Obama Sr – among them US Rep. Neil Abercrombie.
In 1961, the roundtrip flight to Kenya would have been a very expensive, pointless, and time consuming epic journey for two starving students. Barack Obama Sr. had only been able to come study at UH Manoa with a free ticket on a donated charter flight with other Kenyan students. B
Obama benefited from creating an opposition which seemed to be standing by the side of the road impotently pointing to a piece of paper as if it could stop 63 million voters from anointing their "chosen one." Birth certificate lawsuit plaintiff Phil Berg is a Democrat and whether he understands it or not, he has done great work on behalf of his party.
It is time for folks to stop being played by the Obama campaign and drop this counterproductive "phony birth certificate" nonsense. Obama opponents can find plenty of real material by focusing on the hard-left alliances, stated positions, personnel appointments and policy actions of the Obama administration and of the Democrat-controlled Congress.

You gotta hear this 90 minute blogradio on why the media has a blackout of the looming Obama Birth Certificate Constitutional Crisis:

Complete waste of time. His birth certificate has been validated as authentic by the Republican Governor of Hawaii. On the other hand, it keeps his opponents all in a tizzy over completely worthless crap, so it's to his advantage not to "release" his birth certificate. This sounds like the idiot "9-11 Truthers".

I also have to wonder what he is hiding. This is very questionable behavior. And shouldn't you have to prove that you are a natural-born citizen before you can run? I mean, I have to show all sorts of proof about my identity before I can have a job, get a driver's license, etc. Shouldn't the person who is supposed to, oh, I don't know, RUN THE COUNTRY, be held to an even higher standard of proof than us "ordinary citizens" who he feels lacks the standing to challenge him? What is wrong with this picture?
Posted by: Believer | November 18, 2008 at 08:25 AM
She is totally right to do this. If he is really a natural born citizen why doesnt he just come out and show his birth certificate? There should be nothing to hide. I wonder myself. The media hasnt focused one bit on his birth, so the people have to.
