It's a good thing George Bush ran a major league baseball team. In fact, he could have been a catcher. Or at least, a really good batter...keenly aware of poorly thrown pitches, like you'll see here.
Some idiot journalist in Baghdad is tonight reaping the benefit of having thrown his shoes at the President of the United States. As you'll see in this piece from CNN, the key question now may very well be, once the Iraqi secret service is done with him: will he have feet on which to put his own shoes? I guess if you live by the boot, you might end up hobbling around on stubbs because of the boot.
