The morning is under way. My hope is that the nation will go beyond post-racial, past post-racist, that America would fling open its arms fully to 'One Nation'...and black or white, those arms would embrace 'under God' as it never has.

I actually just heard a liberal newsperson say that it is questionable whether Obama is really sworn in, because the Chief Justice did not have him repeat the entire oath of office! The newscaster said it could go to the Supreme Court...who knows? Roberts flew by the seat of his pants and forgot the whole second half of the oath...you know, that stuff about the Constitution! I felt sorry for Obama that he stumbled through it, and wondered why it seemed so short...shorter than Biden's oath. You only get to say those lines once, or maybe twice, in your life. What a mess. Great way to start. Hope the rest goes better.

I'd like us all to drop race as a word to separate or classify - we are all of one race, under the color of our skin we are much more the same than we are different.
