Was surprised to find this text (below) in front of my eyes...
Don't get me wrong, I loved reading it, but the content was still a bit unnerving. Words like "stupid" and "offensive" and "self-righteous tirade" are hard to swallow, even with a tablespoonful of sugar. Read on...
"Through the years I watched from a distance as Dennis went on to rise and fall in the Idaho political machine. He was vocal on the key Focus on the Family issues of abortion and homosexuality. He made no friends in his own political party when he verbally went after the governor who didn’t sign legislation that Dennis had legislated hard for. It was highly offensive and I remember telling my wife that Dennis had probably ended his political career with his over-the-top, self-righteous tirade. I told her that I wouldn’t cross the street to shake his hand. I felt Dennis had set the cause of Christ back, not because of his beliefs, but by his stupid mouth."
