Media Matters put this interesting piece together about the origins of what they call "a smear" - regarding President Obama's awkward laughter recently on 60 Minutes, when he was asked about the current economic outlook.
The thing I find interesting is that, they may just be correct, regarding how the conservative press jumped so quickly on the obvious gaffe by President Obama - yet Media Matters was so very quiet in past years, about the equally unacceptable treatment afforded to former President George W. Bush - during his string of gaffes. Never heard them once speak out....but I may be in error.
Honor should be given to all who lead us. We salute the Office, not the man.
