Like me, have you ever seen something - even close up - and were SURE you knew what it was?
Like these model airplane wing things? Just like the real deals, huh?
And then a closer look unveils that the object of your gaze is COMPLETELY NOT what you "saw"?
Yep...today.
After studying these "airplane" things on the wall of a hotel, I realized that they have nothing to do with aviation...in fact they were made for water and NOT for air.
They're those guides that are placed under sea-bearing craft to keep the trip going straight.
Important. Especially to sailors.
Unimportant. To all others...unless you're eventually headed onto a ship, run by...sailors.
That's sort of what I saw this week, after meeting so many black Ministers.
I thought I knew what they did...especially for the African American community.
And found out a whole lot more...a whole different direction.
Fascinating paradigm shift for me.

PS: let me know if you want to read what I learned. If not, no prob; I learned some cool stuff and that's good enough for me.
