A few weeks back I featured the Gospel according to the Coen Brothers....an interesting take indeed. If you have time please visit and read.
Monday's USA Today featured Dean Nelson's "Holy moments surround us" in The Forum.
It's a sort-of "Gospel according to The Shawshank redemption"...and I liked it.
I was struck by how spot-on Nelson is in this USA piece. Opening his piece with a review of the escape scene from "The Shawshank Redemption" (which other than the previously mentioned Dude from " The Big Lebowski" was one of my late son's favorites), Nate would have loved reading Dean's piece...and probably IS enjoying it from his position in Heaven...and he's a lot more accurate than either Dean or I (or you?) could be on this subject.
For your "thinking enjoyment",
