I have a love-hate relationship with coffee.
I married a beautiful, wonderful woman who LOVES coffee.
My son and my daughter LOVE coffee.
I LOVE reading my son's Coffee Blog.
And I hate the taste of coffee.....
4 sips in my soon-to-be-54-years...aghh...yuck.
And yet I LOVE the social aspects of coffee shops (other than those in Amsterdam...hmmm).
I LOVE the smell of coffee; the scents of so many different roasts that so my family and friends seem to love.
But when someone UNKNOWINGLY serves me up a big bowl of coffee-flavored ice cream, coffee-flavored hard candy or ACCIDENTALLY hands me a beautifully hot cup of cocoa...and I take a piping hot sip...only to find out that...you guessed it.....it's COFFEE. Oh the heartbreak....
Anyone else with me on this one?

Or maybe erudite? (Google that and my name...tee hee, you'll enjoy it, I think, as you sip your cup of Joe.)

Den,
A coffee shop is not just for coffee lovers. Next time you want to enjoy a cup of joe without the joe, yet experience the coffee klatsch, have an italian soda. No coffee, but quite urbane.
Cheers,
Chris
