Part of OUR Christmas traditions happens to be the making of Candy Houses!!
And having our rent-a-grandchilren, Emmy-bo-bemmy and Maureenie-jelly-beanie, visit us and aid in the construction.
Ok, no aiding...they do it ALL themselves!
We've done it since they were almost-daily attendees at Mansfield Acres. Now they are 9 and 7. And since we started, Susan and I became REAL grandparents. And that grandson, Cole, is now in the thick of the sweet-home-building, too.
Also joining us last year and this year were young Kaitlyn and Matthew, cousins of Coley-boley.
Oh, and E-girl and K-girl both are asking Santa for some VERY needed "front teeth".
And won't that candy help them when their teeth grow back?
