Thanks to our friends at the Idaho Conservative Blogger for the heads-up on Richard Baehr's "American Thinker" article on Israel. Very challenging piece regarding the Obama Administration's stand on Israel.
"It took a while -- fourteen months, to be exact -- but both the ADL and AIPAC have issued very solid statements condemning the president's new verbal war on Israel. The organizations are further asking for the administration to curtail the public berating of its supposed ally and work with Israel in a more diplomatic fashion on both the peace process and Iran. What is disgraceful is that so far, exactly one elected Democrat in Congress has done the same: Congresswoman Shelley Berkley of Nevada. Sadly, Democrats seem to care far more about passing health care legislation this week than protecting the U.S.-Israel "
It's an unusual blend when AIPAC and ADL both came out and condemned the Obama Administration for its failure to rightly support and handle Israel during this international attack via the world's media.
It's almost, I say again ALMOST, a new form of anti-semitism: "Hate Israel but say very little about the Jews, themselves". Kind of a softer and gentler propaganda war to isolate Israel as a nation...and some very key Obama Administration leaders are buying into that line of thinking.
May David Axelrod and Joe Biden have words on this issue. Biden has ALWAYS been a strong supporter of Israel. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu always counted on Joe Biden. Hmmm....what now?
