The week is shortening...the final day for presenting forms to run for US Congress is almost upon us.
And former Congressman Bill Sali is silent...or is he?
I've stated on this blog that there could be a strong chance that Bill might throw his hat in the ring.
But at this 11th hour? M a y b e.....Bill's always been his own man
Hmm...I still say it's possible, given one key element...He's always listened to his wonderful wife.
My call is that if his wife and family give him the "a-ok" (even at this late date), he's in. If not, Bill is too kind and thoughtful a man towards his family and friends to simply run for running's sake.
And if he DID run?
He'd win the GOP Primary...
I've said it before and I'll say it again on Saturday, if his hat's in the ring.
Vaughn Ward and Raul Labrador are fine men. Raul is a fiend of Bill's.
Vaughn's filed, but has Raul? Hmm...
Bill Sali is a former (and TWICE successful) candidate for the GOP nomination to became a US Congressman.
Let's just see if the emphasis is really on "former".
