Black Hawk Down is a terribly good film.
Terrible, because it continually takes the film-goers into the very heart of a horrible story of pain and death - and how the US Military gets up every day to do its duty.
Good, because it provides an incredible amount of life lessons for both civilians and military.
The best of which is right here:
Den

The book was even better. Not because it described the action better, but because it described what went wrong, and why.
