Pinning on.

Pinning on.

The Long Gray Line of West Point has a history that involves the pinning on of 2nd Lt bars of new grads.

With my Dad's recent diagnosis of terminal cancer, we decided to have him pin on Colin's third year Shields.

As a down payment... In hopes for the future.

The ceremony today was beautiful.

Death seems to be so saddening, but we will all get there some time. We all grow older, every day. I am glad you had this opportunity to share Colin with him and the part he will play one day. Pass the torch, Den, pass it on and forward.
