I'm patriotic but.... c'mon. Is Christmas even MORE "right around the corner"?

We were shopping at a local "Michaels"and I came upon this display...

For the fourth of July.

On the twentieth of May.

C'mon.

On the other hand, maybe I should break out my Christmas colors, tinsel and pics of Rudolph. Beat the retailers at their own game! Ha.

A deep dilemma, indeed, for the shoppers of America.

we were at the dollar store 3 weeks ago and they had the same display! I had a hard time keeping Cole away from all the American flags... nothing says silly like celebrating months in advance. Well... maybe we can petition birthday celebrations to be 2 or 3 months long! I like that idea. ;)
