Ruprecht the Monkey boy - Certainly, Steve Martin...but MARLON BRANDO? Actually, yes!

Martin and CaineBy far one of my all time favorite comedy films is Frank Oz's "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" (I even loved the musical!)

But did you know?

Two decades before it arrived to the delight of its audiences, there was another film with the same plot?

Brando and Niven"Bedtime Story"!

Michael Caine's role was played by David Niven.

Steve Martin's role was played by none other than Marlon Brando!

Think of it... Don Corleone as Ruprecht the Monkey Boy!
