On boardwalks, the ocean and The 4th of July.

My bride and I are sitting on a bench, on a boardwalk pier, nibbling on chocolate frozen bananas... thinking.

Remembering.

And The 4th of July is just around the corner. Just as it was 35 years ago.

The summer evening of fireworks so long ago... when I asked her to marry me.

Remembering then. Enjoying now.

What beautiful times. Both then and now.
