In a provocative post ICB repeats, as a question, the media-driven post-election statement of the Grand Old Party - Is the GOP the party of the Grey Old (White) People?'
His answer is telling because he uses two voices of conservatism to explore that claim:
One, a young Latino 2nd Term Congressman from Idaho, Raul Labrador and
Two, a kinda-grey old white person who embodies conservative values for every age: Ronald Reagan.
It's a quick read, chock full of President Reagan's thoughts and quotes, including a quote from Congressman Labrador that he gave this past weekon Meet The Press.
Doesn't it seem that the very basis of (some of) the national media's attack on the Republican Party is repugnant to the liberal things many of them hold dear:
Discrimination on the basis of age, skin color and sex.
