Friends of this blog (and of FB) may remember that I was once a candidate for high office. It was a long time ago - about a dozen years or so. The campaign pic proves the length of time - I mean c'mon!
Yep, I was younger, as was my family. And I lost to Butch Otter who ultimately became Governor of Idaho.
So, when Brandon Freeman asked me to play a political cameo role in his upcoming indie film "Mark of the Veil", I was curious. I was sent the script, read through it. Saw what he was doing and accepted the role.
Believe it or not, I was STILL not an incumbent!! Ha, I played a former Governor. So, I suppose that's kinda closer to what I set out to do, lo those many years ago - in a Twilight Zone sort of way!
I am not in the trailer (yet, Brandon, yet...) but it does give you a flavor of the quality of this young film director's skill.
