Years ago, Coke had this ad.
Now it appears, there are those in the world who who want to challenge Coke's unique, unknown and mysterious recipe of um, sugar and uh, um water by going after the company. It's all too mysterious for people to have ever known what was in their favorite beverage. Who knew? Now, people have grown too fat and someone else must be blamed... hmmm.
So, Coke has entered into a new world - a world of now being treated like big tobacco and guns.
Here's a great article on the subject.
"(U)ntil now, it hasn't responded much to criticisms that strike at the root of its famous product: its sodas are making America fat. Mayor Michael Bloomberg's measure to restrict sodas from being sold in jumbo sizes, which goes into effect in March--and efforts around the country to impose taxes on sugary drinks, or remove sodas from schools--have landed Coca Cola in the general company of the tobacco and gun industry." More here.
But wait a minute, Roy Orbison and Marvin Gaye and Marilyn Monroe, told me differtly.

What people may not know is that man on the beach carrying a pack of coke was ole Dennis back in the day. Or was it Terry Bush?
