John Lennon's unreleased version of "Beautiful Boy" - very pretty.

The impact of Lennon's song "Beautiful Boy" on many families over the years can not be understated.

The song has a deeply soulish-stirring quality to it that may last longer (and have deeper impact) than many of his better known post-Beatles songs. The inspiration of his bride, Yoko, coupled with the joy of his son, Sean, create the truth of this song.

This version was not released on his final album, Double Fantasy. It's a beautiful, rare find to listen to.

May his words stir your heart.
